Discus fish not acting like before?
I have a Discus fish that has been with me for about 11 months. She was doing really well just yesterday; eating, swimming, and so fourth. But suddenly this morning I woke up and overnight she's changed somehow. Instead of spreading her fins out like she used too, she'd make more of an oval shape. Also, she's not eating, and barley even tries to when she sees the food. Lastly, her head is slightly tilted upward and she seems to be swimming in one big circle around the aquarium. What's wrong with her? I don't think it could be anything too bad because this just happened overnight, but still.
- I check the water temp. and it is perfect
- The aquarium water is very clean
- There have been no food changes in the past several months
- The other fish in the tank are fine
Your discus might have a parasite or something.
