Transportation to Hanuama bay?
I am visiting waikiki in two weeks. I would like to spend one whole day at Hanuama Bay and at Baby Makapuu. Can someone please tell me what other means of transportation is available for to me to take if I choose not to rent a car for a day just to visit these two places.
I will have quiet a handful of belongings with me when I go to the beach... such as my change.. sun tan lotion, shoes, sunglasses.. I prefer not to take a local bus with these handful of hand luggage..

If you don't want to take the city bus, a taxi is pretty much your only other choice to Hanauma Bay. Because it is a nature preserve, there are rules against tour companies dropping off groups of people. They can take people to the top to view the scenery but they can't leave people behind. Also, a taxi may not drop you off in the park, but just out side the entrance, (There is a small look-out a few yards from the entrance that is often used for this purpose.) and you have to walk in. As for Baby Makapu'u, check with some of the tour companies. I know some do small passenger van outings.
