What would you use for an 11 month old swimming?
This is our baby's first real summer coming up. He was born last summer. We are starting it off with a trip to the beach but he will be going to a pool regularly when we get back.
He will be 11 months when we go on the trip. What are some good beach/pool toys for that age?
Also, what should we use to keep him afloat? We know not to leave him or anything, but should we get him one of those float thingies or will he be too old for that? Should we just get him one of those suits with the floating stuff built in? Would we be better off just holding him in our arms in the pool/ocean? Thanks!
Last summer I used one of those sitter things and my son really enjoyed it. This summer he will be about 1 1/2 so I'm thinking he will hate it, I plan on getting him one of those bathing suit looking things with the floaters in it, and some arm floaters, that way he can move around more, you can try the seat, I think I got mine for like $7 at wal-mart... but if he doesn't like it you can always try the bathing suit things.
