In what order do I put the chemicals in my hot tub?
I just bought a house with a hot tub and am clueless. I have it filled up and it is heating up right now.
My water was tested today and my levels compared to the recommended levels are:
Bromine 1.0 ppm recommended range 1.0 - 5.0 ppm
pH 7.8 recommended range 7.2 - 7.6
Hardness 50 ppm recommended range 180 - 250 ppm
alkalinity 0 ppm recommended range 80 - 120 ppm
Do I start by putting in the bromine floater? Do I start by adding calcium hardness increaser? Do I start by adding pH decreaser? Basically I don't know what to adjust first or if it's really important. Any help would be greatly appreciated. All the instructions are different and don't seem to specify this. It's 300 gallons by the way.
It really doesn't matter the sequence.
