How do i train my Great Dane to "go" in the kiddie pool in my house that I filled up with kitty litter?
I bought one of those plastic kiddie pools at Target and filled it halfway up with kitty litter and put it in my basement. I am just sick and tired of letting my dog outside all of the time so i thought this would be an excellent idea.
He hasnt learned how to use it though. I have "gone" in it several times while he watched, but he is still not getting the hint. Anyone have any tips on how to train him?? (He is 3 yrs old by the way, and housebroken)
FYI...I do take my dog on daily walks and to the park, i just dont want to let him out early in the morning when im tired or in the middle of the night.
Try taking some of his poo from outside and putting it in it. That way his scent would be there. But since he's already housetrained. Your gonna have unhousetrain to go in the house.
